No Competition
I was told by a friend that there is no competition. The only opponent in your life isn’t your “haters,” but yourself. You have to beat your own flaws. Your own weakness. Your own doubts. Your biggest enemy is the person you see in the mirror.
In nature, a cheetah doesn’t worry if it’s the fastest of all the other cheetahs. It only needs to be fast enough to satisfy to eat. It doesn’t quit chasing its prey until it is caught.
So I’m struggling but learning to let go. I can’t compare myself to others, nor them to me. I will never be you nor understand how you’re life and trials have molded you. It’s truly impossible.
All I can do is be the best possible T0ne M I can be. Even if I fall short sometimes, I won’t quit until I become the man I was born to be…
